Cucina Antica is the creation of William Todd Wisell of Vergennes & Cristy Swain of Plymouth, NH as of May 2006. The two met while studying business at Plymouth State College. William worked his way up in the restaurant industry from dishwasher, to bartender, prep cook, & chef. He also managed several restaurants during and after college in the White Mountain region. Cristy spent much of her time doing the same through and after college. She worked as a waitress, bartender & bar manager at night and pastry chef in the morning. The two have joined their skills, passion and hard work ethics to create a restaurant suitable for families, friends & couples.
When visiting the restaurant you will see either Cristy on the pizza oven , William sauteeing or either one helping out in the front to ensure the perfect dining experience. The staff of seventeen consists of close friends and family including William’s two younger sisters Megan and Malinda Wisell
Their aim is to provide the community with a friendly environment and diverse menu that is suitable for adults and children. Whether it be a whole wheat pizza or the Tuscan Alfredo, there is something for everyone.
